I took over the Raven Café, a truckstop located midway between Telford, Shrewsbury, Chester, Wrexham and Stoke at Prees Heath, in 2003. Pete (my other half), my staff and I have worked very hard to build the business up to what it is today and offer customers the very best food and quality of service. We have renovated the inside of the café so it's very bright, and most importantly, clean - far removed from the traditional "greasy spoon" café image!
We welcome anyone and everyone, from truck drivers to families with children, cyclists, bikers and caravanners. Coaches are also welcome and with our own car park and the capacity to seat up to 250 people, we're able to cater for the largest of parties. Disabled access is good, with our flat, level location - there are no steps to navigate, and there's plenty of room between our tables.
Local cycling clubs use the café as a base from which they run time trials, and motor cyclists gather here at weekends. We also host motor cycle related events with live music (have a look through our galleries to see previous events), where visitors are welcome to admire the bikes and enjoy the friendly atmosphere.
